We have learned to live in a new reality. Our old habits have changed. We have become more cautious as a society. The global situation has also meant that our current system of working has changed. More and more employers are choosing to move to a hybrid work model. Many people are looking for information on what hybrid working means. The answer is simple. The hybrid work model is a combination of office and remote working. It allows every employer to choose their own comfort zone for working. In this working style, staff can carry out their duties both at home and in the office. As is well known, each of us is different. Some like to work in the office while others prefer to work from home. By giving your team both opportunities, you allow them to choose the better option for them. The hybrid model of working during a pandemic has gained many supporters. A lot of workplaces use it, and it has gained acceptance among workers. This is visible in [research](https://envoy.com/blog/envoy-survey-finds-employees-want-companies-to-embrace-hybrid-work-and-mandate-covid-vaccines/) conducted by Envoy and Wakefield Research. Up to 47% of respondents are willing to look for a new job if their current employer does not provide hybrid working opportunities. The results are impressive. Especially if we contrast them with the reality we knew until 2020. It is a revolution that will be visible even after the pandemic. ### Advantages of the hybrid work model There are many arguments in favour of hybrid working. One of them is the ability to maintain a work-life balance. The ability to manage your own time is a major advantage. Employee efficiency also comes to the fore. They can identify the hours when their productivity is highest and schedule the most difficult tasks during this time. There are also logistical issues to consider. By choosing to work from home, employees save time and money spent on commuting. For parents, the need of hiring a babysitter during absences is also gone. Cyclical working from the office gives employees the opportunity to integrate. Being able to choose to work in a stationary model improves their relationships and communication. It is also a big plus for employees who do not have the right conditions to work from home. Each of these factors can impact on the psyche.
